Woman arrested after argument turns physical

Shortly after 6 p.m. a man and woman became involved in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation last night.

It is alleged that the woman pulled the man’s hair and struck him in the face. The 49-year-old Toronto man did not need medical attention.

The 35-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with assault. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
